Rumpke Recycling is proud to partner with the Ohio Department of Natural Resources and Promotions One to bring recycling for the first time to Red, White & BOOM!, one of the largest fireworks festivals in the Midwest.
On July 3rd, Red, White & BOOM! goers will see more than just fireworks in downtown Columbus, Ohio. They will noticmore than 200 recycling containers placed around the event. These 96-gallon containers are green and easily identified by the bright yellow lid with a hole cut in the top.

- Plastic bottles #1-7 (with a screw-on cap, and a neck smaller than the base)
- Paper: coupons, fliers, programs, beverage cartons, newspapers, magazines, envelopes,
- Glass bottles (BOOM! does not encourage patrons to bring glass bottles)
- Cardboard boxes
Common items that should go in the trash containers include: plastic or paper cups, food waste, paper or plastic plates, napkins, plastic bags, plastic utensils and styrofoam.
