Rumpke and Jessamine County, Ky., have teamed up to help keep your neighborhood clean and green!
All Jessamine County households, including those living in the City of Nicholasville, with curbside trash collection can sign-up for recycling collection for a low monthly rate (less than the price of a cup of coffee!). Residents that choose to recycle will be provided with an 18-gallon recycling bin. Additional recycling bins are available at no additional charge. To add recycling, residents must contact Rumpke at 1-877-786-7537 or send an e-mail to southeast.market@rumpke.com.

Rumpke currently accepts the following items as part of Jessamine County's recycling program:
- Aluminum cans
- Newspaper
- Magazines
- Phone books
- Paperboard (like cereal boxes)
- Cardboard
- Office paper
- Glass bottles and jars
- Steel cans
- Plastic bottles and jars
Where does my recycling go?
Jessamine County's recycling is collected and transported to the Lexington Fayette Urban County Governement Recycling Center where it is processed and shipped to different manufacturers to be turned into new products.
